1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

2. How do you think Noah and his family felt when they got off the boat? Why do you think that? How would you have felt?

3. Do you ever feel afraid of God? Why? Are you more prone to fight against God's will, flee from it, or try to fulfill it on your own? Why do you think we take one of these options rather than repenting?

4. How does Jesus' death on the cross remove this sort of fear? How does Jesus' work comfort you?
