Our Beliefs

Faith Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod (LCMS) The LCMS web site contains a good overview of our beliefs and practices as a church. Below are a series of classes and teachings that Pastor Jeong has put together to further explain our beliefs. • Luther's Small Catechism • YouTube LIVE • 2021 Review - join us live on YouTube Thursdays @ 9:00am as we continue to review our faith.
• Luther's Small Catechism - Martin Luther wrote this as a teaching guide of the Christian doctrine. It summarizes the teachings of the Ten Commandments, Apostles' Creed, Lord's Prayer, Baptism, Confession, Holy Communion, and more.
• The Sacrament of the Altar - we believe and confess the Body and Blood of Christ is in, with, and under the consecrated elements of the bread and wine when we partake in the Lord's Supper. This sermon series and bible study help go into more detail on what we believe and practice as a church.

• What Does This Mean? - a topical series examining the current themes of the world and applying it to the Holy Scripture and Small Catechism. We will look at themes such as peace, hope, love, compassion, and mercy.
• Christ & Calamity: Grace & Gratitude in the Darkest Valley - a devotional study based on the book by Harold Senkbeil.
