Ephesians Part 5:
Mystery Revealed

Ephesians 3:1-21

This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 3:6

I. Christianity is not about figuring out God's secret plan for your life. It is about believing what God has done to save us in Christ Jesus. He has __________ this to us in the Bible.

II. God has revealed to us that Jesus came to give __________ to all people in all places through his death which paid for the ________ of all people in all places.

III. And when we know how Christ has saved us, when it is revealed to us, we are set free from that sinful __________ that tries to appease God's wrath. We are given __________ in knowing that we have a loving God who cares for us.

During this series please consider reading through the book of Ephesians daily with your family or on your own. After each sermon, questions will be provided to guide your reading and prayer time. God's blessings in your study!

1. Read through Ephesians 3:1-21. What was the message God gave Paul to reveal? What message does God want you to reveal to others?

2. Read Ephesians 3:7. What does it mean to be a servant of the Gospel? How does one become a servant of the Gospel (read Ephesians 2:8-10)?

3. How does knowing that you are an heir with Israel, a member of the one body of Christ, and a sharer in the promises of God (vs. 6) give you comfort and freedom (vs. 12)?
