Pastor Bob Hiller

There is one body and one Spirit-- just as you were called to one hope when you were called-- one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. Ephesians 4:4-7

I. The church is a group of people __________ in baptism by and around the ________, ________ God.

II. God has __________ each one of us here so that we can be a __________ to the rest of the body.

III. All of us are a part of this __________, all of us are a part of the ________, and all of us are ________ ______ ________ each other with gifts we've been given.

Take It With You!

During this series please consider reading through the book of Ephesians daily with your family or on your own. After each sermon, questions will be provided to guide your reading and prayer time. God's blessings in your study!

1. Read through Ephesians 4:1-6. God calls His church to strive for unity. In light of verse 2, what sorts of things do you think can cause disunity in the church?

2. Ephesians 4:11-13 tells us that Christ has given us certain leaders in the church to prepare us for service. What are some ways you can serve the church? How about those outside of the church?

3. Read Ephesians 4:14. How can false doctrine (i.e. teaching) hinder unity in the church?
