Take It With You!
During this series please consider reading through the book of Ephesians daily with your family or on your own. After each sermon, questions will be provided to guide your reading and prayer time. God's blessings in your study!
1. Read through Ephesians 4:17-21. Paul tells us that we did not come to know Christ through sinful living but through hearing about Jesus. How did you come to know Christ and grow in him?
2. Read Ephesians 4:25-28. Paul talks about taking sin and turning it around for something good. Instead of speaking falsehood, speak truthfully. Instead of stealing, do something useful with your hands. What are some sins you struggle with? Upon confessing them, think of how you can turn your habit into a blessing!
3. How have you been hurt by the words of other people? How have you been blessed by the words of other people? Words can do a lot to hurt us or to make us feel good. The greatest word we can hear is God's word of forgiveness and salvation. This week, tell someone the good news you know from God's Word!
