Take It With You!
During this series please consider reading through the book of Ephesians daily with your family or on your own. After each sermon, questions will be provided to guide your reading and prayer time. God's blessings in your study!
1. Read Ephesians 6:5-9. Remember that slave could be understood in our days as employees and masters as bosses. Which category fits you best? How can you honor God in this position?
2. God works through your job to serve the people in His world. In other words, God is using you to bless your neighbor! How does this change the way you look at work? How does this knowledge lend to your sense of purpose at work?
3. Looking again at Ephesians 5:21-6:9 (using Philippians 2:3-4 as your definition of "submit") what is God calling you to do as His child who is saved by grace? In other words, how does the Gospel effect your life at home and at work?
